The blocks are normally laid onto a correctly screeded sharp-sand laying course and contained within suitable edge restraints.

Once the paving has been laid, the joints should be filled with appropriate kiln-dried jointing sand before the completed surface is compacted in accordance with current installation guidance.

Blocks should be taken from several packs during installation to create a balanced colour blend across the driveway.

Excavation depth, sub-base thickness, drainage, finished levels, falls, edge restraints and the final laying pattern must be confirmed by the installer before work begins.

Important Colour Information

Sand Multi is intentionally manufactured with natural tonal and colour variation.

Individual blocks, packs and production batches may differ slightly in shade. This variation is part of the sandstone-inspired appearance and should not be considered a defect.
