Installation Information

Marshalls Carto Grey Multi should be installed onto a suitably prepared and compacted sub-base appropriate for the existing ground conditions and expected vehicle use.

The blocks are normally laid onto a correctly screeded sharp-sand laying course and secured within suitable edge restraints.

Once the paving has been laid, the joints should be filled with suitable kiln-dried jointing sand before the completed surface is compacted in accordance with current installation guidance.

Blocks should be selected from several packs during installation to achieve a balanced blend of colours across the driveway.

Excavation depth, sub-base thickness, drainage, finished levels, falls, edge restraints and the final laying pattern must be confirmed by the person carrying out the installation.

Important Colour Information

Grey Multi is intentionally manufactured with natural colour and tonal variation.

Individual blocks, packs and production batches may differ slightly. Blocks should be selected from several packs during installation to achieve a balanced blend across the completed driveway.

The paving may also appear different when wet, dry, photographed or viewed on different screens. Where an exact colour match is important, we recommend viewing a physical sample before placing a large order.
