The naturally clean-splitting slate gives each slab subtle individual variation while maintaining the refined overall appearance of the Casarta range. The large-format sizes work particularly well in modern layouts and can be laid in regular or varied patterns depending on the design.

Natural slate characteristics
Casarta Slate is a natural stone product, so variation in colour, texture and natural markings is expected and forms part of its appearance. For a balanced finish, mix slabs from across the pack as installation progresses rather than laying from one section at a time.
Installation guidance
Marshalls advises slurry backing or priming natural stone to improve adhesion and help reduce the risk of staining. Marshalls Paving Primer is recommended. Casarta Slate sizes and stated coverage are based on a 10mm joint.
Always follow current Marshalls natural stone installation guidance before laying. If Casarta Slate is used indoors, Marshalls recommends an appropriate water-based sealant.
