Material Details
The 5 x MOT Type 1 bulk bags are included for a standard approx. 100mm compacted sub-base across the 21.6m² patio area.
The 2 x sharp sand bulk bags and 14 x 25kg cement bags are included for laying the paving on an approx. 40mm full mortar bed, based on a 4:1 sharp sand and cement mix.
We recommend porcelain paving is laid on a full mortar bed using a 4:1 sharp sand and cement mix. Porcelain paving should not be spot bedded.
The 1 x suitable porcelain slurry primer is included to help bond the porcelain paving to the mortar bed. Slurry primer should be applied to the underside of the porcelain slabs before laying.
The 2 x 15kg tubs of Azpects EASYJoint PORCELAIN are included for jointing the paving. This has been calculated using the Azpects EASYJoint Porcelain calculator for 600mm x 900mm slabs, over a 21.6m² patio area, based on approx. 20mm joint depth and 10mm joint width.
The weed control membrane is supplied in enough quantity to cover the patio area required for this pack. The exact roll size or format may vary depending on supplier availability.
Supply Only – Installation Not Included
This is a supply-only patio pack. UK Building Supplies supplies the materials only and this product does not include installation, labour, site preparation, waste removal, groundworks, drainage works or laying services.
Customers can either install the patio themselves if they are competent to do so, or arrange their own suitably qualified builder, landscaper or installer to carry out the work.
All installation decisions, site preparation, ground conditions, levels, falls, drainage, cutting, laying method and final material requirements should be checked by the person carrying out the installation before work begins.

Ground conditions, excavation depth, compaction, drainage, falls, bedding depth, cutting, edge details, patio shape and installer preference can affect the final quantities required.
Extra materials may be needed for unusual layouts, poor ground, deeper build-ups, drainage works, retaining edges, steps, waste removal or non-standard installation requirements.
Always confirm with your installer before ordering if your project has unusual ground conditions or specific installation requirements.
