Material Details
The 5 x MOT Type 1 bulk bags are included for a standard approximately 100mm compacted sub-base across the 19.5m2 patio area.
The 2 x sharp sand bulk bags and 14 x 25kg cement bags are included for laying the paving on an approximately 40mm full mortar bed using a 4:1 sharp sand and cement mix.
We recommend that Indian sandstone paving is laid on a full mortar bed using a 4:1 sharp sand and cement mix. It should not be spot bedded.
The suitable natural stone slurry primer / bonding primer is included to help improve the bond between the sandstone paving and the mortar bed. The primer should be applied as required by the product instructions and installer’s chosen method.
The 4 x tubs of Azpects EASYJoint Original brush-in jointing compound in Stone Grey are included for jointing the paving. This allowance is based on a mixed-size Indian sandstone patio pack with approximately 10mm wide joints and up to 30mm joint depth. Wider joints, deeper joints, unusual laying patterns or installer preference may require additional jointing compound.
The weed control membrane will be supplied in sufficient quantity to cover the patio area required for this pack. The precise roll size or format may vary depending on supplier availability.

UK Building Supplies supplies the materials only. Installation, labour, excavation, site preparation, groundworks, drainage, waste removal and laying services are not included.
Customers can install the patio themselves if they are competent to do so or arrange their own suitably qualified builder, landscaper or installer.
All decisions relating to levels, falls, drainage, excavation depth, compaction, edge details, cutting, bedding depth and final material requirements must be checked by the person carrying out the installation before work begins.

Additional materials may be necessary for poor ground, deeper build-ups, unusual layouts, retaining edges, steps, drainage work or other non-standard installation requirements.
