The paving is based on standard 200 x 100 x 50mm concrete block paving, laid with a 90° herringbone internal pattern and a single-course soldier border around the perimeter.

You choose the paving colour and layout. We organise the main driveway materials. You or your chosen installer arrange the installation.

Paving Options

The Complete 1 Car Driveway Pack is planned around the following colour and layout choices:

• Brindle
• Charcoal
• Buff
• Brindle with Charcoal soldier-course border
• Buff with Charcoal soldier-course border

For the two-colour bordered options, the material allowance is based on 15m² / 750 blocks for the internal Brindle or Buff paving and 4m² / 200 blocks for the Charcoal border.

Designed for a Typical 1 Car Driveway

This pack is designed around a driveway measuring approximately 3.5m x 5.0m. The finished paved area is approximately 17.5m², while 19m² of paving is supplied to provide an allowance for normal cutting and wastage.

The standard layout uses a 90° herringbone pattern internally with a single 200mm-wide soldier-course border around the perimeter.

Sub-Base & Laying Materials

The MOT Type 1 allowance is based on a standard domestic driveway build-up using approximately 150mm compacted sub-base. The sharp / grit sand is supplied for the block paving laying course, with kiln-dried sand supplied for jointing after installation.

Ballast and cement are included for constructing the perimeter edge restraint / haunching required to secure the block paving.

Heavy-Duty Driveway Membrane Included

A suitable heavy-duty geotextile driveway membrane is included in sufficient quantity to cover the driveway area. The exact roll size or format supplied may vary depending on supplier availability.

Supply Only – Installation Not Included

This is a supply-only driveway materials pack. Installation, labour, excavation, waste removal, machinery hire and site preparation are not included.

Drainage requirements, finished levels, falls, ground conditions and excavation depth vary from property to property. Additional materials may be required where ground conditions are poor, a deeper construction is needed, additional edge restraints are required or drainage works are necessary.

Always confirm the final specification and quantities with the person carrying out the installation before ordering.
