Marshalls Towngate Brown Multi
Marshalls Towngate Brown Multi is a responsibly sourced sawn natural sandstone paving with a rich blend of brown and earthy tones. Towngate is designed to retain the character of genuine stone while offering a clean sawn finish that works especially well in traditional gardens, landscaped patios and areas where a warmer natural look is preferred.
Unlike Marshalls' more tightly colour-selected premium natural stone ranges, Towngate is deliberately more loosely colour selected. This means a broader, more random variation in tone should be expected from slab to slab once laid, which is part of the character of the range.

Natural stone characteristics
Towngate is a natural sandstone product, so variation in colour, texture and markings is expected. Marshalls specifically notes that Towngate is more loosely colour selected than its premium sandstone ranges, so more noticeable colour variation may be apparent once laid. Mixing slabs from across the pack during installation will help create a balanced finish.
Installation guidance
Marshalls advises that natural stone paving should be laid on a full mortar bed and slurry backed or primed to improve adhesion and help reduce the risk of staining. Marshalls Paving Primer is recommended. Towngate sizes and stated coverage are based on a 10mm joint.
