Natural Slate Blue is a genuine natural stone product, so differences in colour, texture, markings and thickness are expected. Marshalls advises that natural stone should be mixed from across the pack during installation to help create a balanced overall appearance.
Installation guidance
Marshalls advises that Natural Slate should be laid in accordance with its current natural stone installation guidance. As a natural split product, slab thickness can vary between approximately 18mm and 24mm.
Natural stone paving should be laid on a full mortar bed and slurry backed or primed to improve adhesion and help reduce the risk of staining. Marshalls Paving Primer is recommended. The stated pack coverage is based on a 10mm joint.
